The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open examination for recruitment For Various posts of Constable (GD) in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NIA and SSF and Rifleman in Assam Rifles as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Essential Qualification –
(as on 01.08.2020), Matriculation or Xth (High School) class pass from a recognized board/ university.

Physical Standards –
Physical standards laid down for the post of Constable are –
a) Height :
For Males : 170 cms.
For Females : 157 cms.
b) Chest :
For males only – Unexpanded : 80 cms.
– Expanded : Min expansion 5 cms.
c) Weight :
For males and Females : Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
c) Race (Running) :
For Males : 5 Km. in 24 Minutes.
For Females : 1.6 Km. in 8 Minute 30 Second.
Selection Process –
The recruitment process will consist of-
- – Online Written Examination,
- – Physical Standards Test,
- – Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Examination.
Application Fee Payable –
Rupees hundred only (Rs. 100) payable through CRF stamps for off line application or SBI Challan or online payment through SBI Challan /Net banking/credit /debit cards in the case of online application.
